Police say a 26-year-old Tampa man threw a baby against a wall during an argument with the child's mother.Authorities have charged Lonnie Ash with aggravated child abuse in connection to the Tuesday morning incident. According to online records, Ash was booked into Hillsborough County jail and is being held without bond. Jail records do not list an attorney.

Miami-Dade police say a pizza delivery man was taken to a local hospital in stable condition after he was shot in the foot during an attempted robbery.According to the Miami-Dade Police Department, the shooting happened Monday night. Investigators say 46-year-old Agelon Innocent was confronted by four men while he was delivering a pizza. A struggle began after one suspect pulled out a gun, and Innocent was shot.

Hillsborough County detectives are investigating a triple homicide that happened Tuesday in Brandon and have recovered a car involved in the crime in Orange County.According to a sheriff's office news release, deputies went to a home shortly after midnight when someone inside reported hearing gunshots. When officers arrived, they found the bodies of three men in the backyard.

MIAMI
Former Eastern Airlines flight attendants and passengers are marking the anniversary of a 1972 jetliner crash in the Florida Everglades.Flight 401 from New York to Miami crashed Dec. 29, 1972, after the cockpit crew became distracted with a faulty landing gear light. They didn't notice that the plane was descending until they were just feet above the Everglades. About 75 people survived the crash, and 101 people died.
ALTAMONTE SPRINGS
Residents of an Altamonte Springs apartment building have reported several sightings of bears at their complex.Joy Hill, a spokeswoman for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, says it wouldn't be out of the ordinary to find bears roaming near the Lotus Landing Apartments in Altamonte Springs. She says the complex, located near the Wekiva River Basin, is in "bear country."
