Taylor Swift is getting ready for "Saturday Night Live."
AP

Taylor Swift is proving that she's taking the incident with Kanye West at the MTV Video Music Awards in stride. In a "Saturday Night Live" preview posted to People.com earlier Wednesday, the country superstar shares a joke with cast member Bill Hader.

In the promo (which you can view below) Taylor is saying to the audience that she will host and perform on Saturday night's show, when Hader promptly interrupts her on his cell phone saying that "Kanye West just called. He thinks Beyonce should host instead." Is the whole video a little cheesy? Probably so, but with the quality of "SNL" in recent weeks this might actually be a step up. The show rose in popularity last year thanks in part to the 2008 presidential election; this season, however, the biggest headline "SNL" has managed was when a cast member accidentally dropped the f-bomb.

So are you planning to watch Taylor Swift aim for laughs this Saturday? Let me know your thoughts with a comment and stay tuned for more TV news.
