On The Fly

Flying with kids can be a parent's worst nightmare, at least you might think it is.  It really doesn't have to be.  As we have reiterated several times in past articles about traveling with kids, there are so many great products on the market that make traveling less of a headache when planned out properly.

For anyone traveling with a baby, whether nursing or not, the On the Fly bottle warmer is a must have.  As most everyone knows by now, FAA has strict regulations for what is allowed to be brought through security at the airports.  Although according to the latest TSA rules, "when traveling with your infant or toddler, in the absence of suspicious activity or items, greater than 3 ounces of baby formula, breast milk, or juice are permitted through the security checkpoint in reasonable quantities for the duration of your itinerary'" if you follow the following set of rules:

  1. Separate these items from the liquids, gels, and aerosols in your quart-size and zip-top bag.
  2. Declare you have the items to one of our Security Officers at the security checkpoint.
  3. Present these items for additional inspection once reaching the X-ray. These items are subject to additional screening.

For more information on the regulations for flying with children visit the TSA's website

Babies, especially breastfed babies, generally prefer luke warm milk and it is especially calming for some babies, which is ideal when sitting in a crowded airplane.  Who knows, the not so friendly airlines might kick you off the airplane as they did to another family just last week on Southworst.

On The Fly has created a safe, easy and all natural way to warm your babie's bottle.  Using an air activated warmer, then inserting this warmer between two layers of a very chic, cotton bottle sock, the On The Fly is perfect for on-the-go.

The warmer may take up to 30 minutes to warm up the bottle and will last up to 8 hours.  So, if you are getting ready to board a flight, go ahead and fill up your bottle with water, pop on the warmer and bottle sock and have your bottle warming up so when you get settled on the plane you can feed your baby soon after and start off the flight with her comfortable and relaxed.

On The Fly Features:

  • Bottle sock is cute, two layered stretch fabric
  • Fits 4 oz and up to 11 oz wide bottles
  • Starter kit includes one bottle sock and 5 warmers, perfect for vacation
  • Can be used many times through out the day because warmer lasts up to 8 hours long
  • Warmer is all natural made of iron powder, water, activated carbon, wood, powder and salt.
  • Great for vacation, flying, play group or late night feedings
