It's that time of year again.  The holiday season is upon us, and your local Starbucks store is transformed into a coffee wonderland.  Starting today, Starbucks offers its popular holiday beverage trio - Eggnog Latte, Gingerbread Latte and Peppermint Mocha.  Yummy!

But does a 12oz or 16oz cup of eggnog sound a little too rich for your blood?  Ask the barista to make the latte with half non-fat (or soy) milk and half eggnog.  It will have the same great eggnog flavor but with fewer calories and not so rich and sweet.

Of course, what better way to enjoy your favorite holiday beverage but in the Starbucks signature holiday red cup. The Starbucks red cup has been around since 1997 and is a sign of Christmas for Starbucks coffee drinkers.  The design may change year after year, but the color always remains the same.

Five years ago, Starbucks took their red cup to whole different level when it launched a brilliant, viral marketing campaign in the United States.  The coffee company magnetically attached its iconic red cup to the top of taxi cabs and unmarked cars.  Anyone who informed the driver of the red cup was given a coupon for a free Starbucks beverage.  Paris and Shanghai ran the campaign as well.  Check out the fun!
