Jenika Heim is an adjunct women's studies faculty member at Front Range Community College in Westminster. She earned her master of arts degree in women's studies from San Diego State University. As a student and teacher of women's studies, women's issues are a point of importance for Jenika. She decided to write for Examiner.com to report on how local issues can and do affect women, and to critically deconstruct these very issues.
