He spoke of how the media has professed in the past that Jett may have had autism, but that the family refused that instead of being diagnosed with or diagnosed in addition to Kawasaki's Syndrome.
Tommy Davis, a representative of the Church of Scientology was on the Today show, and was interviewed by Meredith Vierra. He spoke primarily of how the church does recognize illnesses, including mental health issues. He also stated that a controversial statement made by the Church of Scientology that states the church does not support the use of drugs. Mr. Davis said that the statement referred to street drugs, and not drugs that are prescribed from a physician. He also said that the church supports the diagnosis and any medication that a doctor issues.
