Will Rogers Days with Janna Jae and Vince Gill, Nov. 4-8, 2009
Will Rogers was born November 4, 1879. Tomorrow would have been his 130th birthday. The Will Rogers Museum in Claremore, Oklahoma will be the center of the 2009 annual tribute to Will Rogers. Events are numerous over a five day period. Make plans now to attend one or all of the events.

Sun., November 8
The Will Rogers Gala at Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa with Vince Gill. This is a very special and ticketed event. Proceeds in part will benefit the Blue Star Mother’s of America in Tulsa. For more information see the Tulsa Will Rogers Rotary web site.
The presentation of the “Spirit of Will Rogers Award” will be given to Vince Gill by the Rotary Club of Will Rogers (Tulsa). The Spirit of Will Rogers is awarded each year to honor outstanding people that live their lives up to the standards of Will Rogers.

The Will Rogers Memorial in Claremore, Oklahoma rests on 20 acres that Rogers purchased in 1911 for his planned retirement home. When he died in a plane crash in 1936, his family donated the land for the existing museum.
