I do not want to take away from a wonderful counterpart, the Philadelphia Public Transportation Examiner but anyone has the right to say about Philly this week, "What a zoo." A ride that should have normally taken 45 minutes to get into Center City today took an hour and twenty minutes. Why? SEPTA's transit strike, day four.
There were no buses, only cars and police in Center City. It literally took a half an hour at rush hour to just get around City Hall. Police cars were lined up down Broad Street. A meeting with out of town guests got pushed back.
It's time to fire everyone, privatize SEPTA, and start over!
