Kind of a Travel Channel meets Golf theme, it's a fun show to watch. Even if you're a casual golfer you should check it out.
But Lauren, I wouldn't add fly fishing to your resume yet. http://www.theofficiallaurenbrooke.com/resume.html
Here's the press release about the show.
ORLANDO, Fla. -- GOLF CHANNEL cameras have captured the beauty of Ireland’s west coast for a pilot travel show titled Destination Golf: Ireland’s Wonderful West, airing Monday at 7:30 pm ET and filmed in high definition.
Monday’s pilot will show host Lauren Thompson on a week-long adventure through seven counties on Ireland’s western shore. She will visit several historic golf venues, including Donegal Golf Club, Connemara Golf Links and Waterville Golf Links and take in the rich history of the communities and Ireland’s night life, discovering there are no strangers in Ireland, only friends she has never met before.
Planned for an early 2010 premiere, Destination Golf will be a series of travel documentary shows featuring Thompson visiting many of the world’s top golf destinations on a quest to discover unique personalities and experience the ‘local flavor’ that defines the regions.
“Destination Golf will provide an excellent opportunity for GOLF CHANNEL to showcase some of the golf’s best travel destinations in a way our viewers have never seen before,” said Keith Allo, GOLF CHANNEL vice president of programming development.
GOLF CHANNEL will re-air Destination Golf: Ireland’s Wonderful West eight times through the end of October.
