Find out more about Gabriela: Gabriela López de Dennis was born and raised in Los Angeles to an artistic family. She's a writer and artist (Soap Design Co), specializing in the arts and entertainment industry. She loves Los Angeles and its rich culture and diversity, and enjoys reporting/reviewing upcoming events, art exhibits, music shows and anything else related around town. Gabriela is a past screenwriting fellow of Film Independent’s “Project: Involve,” a mentoring program designed to promote cultural diversity in the film industry. Most recently her play “Hoop Girls,” which was originally developed through TeAda Productions and Center Theatre Group, was part of the 2007 [Inside] the Ford summer readings at the Ford Theatre. It had a full production co-produced by Gabriela in July of 2008 at CASA 0101 Theatre in Los Angeles, and a workshop production at Rutgers University in New Jersey. |
