The happy trail to the Roy Rogers - Dale Evans Museum in Branson, will warm your heart and make you smile. Visit the  Roy Rogers-Dale Evans Happy Trails Theater & Attraction, located on Green Mountain Dr., just off the "Branson Strip" 76 Hwy. The address is: 3950 Green Mountain Dr., Branson, MO. 65616. Look for Roy’s golden palomino, the larger-than-life Trigger in front of the museum.

Roy Rogers official site will send you down Memory Lane with the “King of the Cowboys,” the number 1 box office draw for a dozen years. At the museum, see Trigger’s parade
saddles, Roy’s six-shooters and all the stuff Roy had saved, like all those fancy boots and showy hats.

Do you remember?

1. What was the name of Roy’s golden palomino?
A. Silver
B. Trigger
C. Mr. Ed

2. What was the name of the Jeep in Roy’s weekly television show?
A. Missy
B. Princess
C. Nellybelle

3. Who was Roy’s most frequent leading lady (co-starring in 28 films)?
A. Dale Evans
B. Estelita Rodriquez
C. Betty White

Branson has been home to the museum since 2003 when Roy Rogers Jr, and the whole band of High Riders picked up and moved from Victorville CA. Whether you sang to the TV as a kid or caught the reruns, it seems like most of America knows at least the first few bars of  “Happy Trails.”  The audience joins Roy Rogers Jr, his son Dustin and, the High Riders in the finale song  “Happy Trails.”  Choose your own seating for the show at Ticketmaster. Go see Roy Rogers. It will make your day.

Diehard fans will want to know about the Christies auction on December 3, 2009.

Back to a time when we could tell by the color of their hats
Roys movies were everything audiences wanted: fast action, wondrous scenery, moral lessons, bad guys to hiss, fair ladies in distress, and manly men to admire. He reined as King of the Cowboys, the number one box office draw for 12 years.
