In the ‘land of the free and the home of the brave’ comes a group whose mission is to turn the tide of freedom into a country ruled not by our U.S. Constitution; rather, Shariah law. This is the goal of an extreme group of Muslims, who infiltrate and influence our society in strategic ways. ‘ACT! for America’ has their own strategy for fighting back.

This grass roots organization was founded by Brigitte Gabriel, a Lebanese American who experienced the brutality of Shariah law herself. On the ACT! web site, Gabriel explained how she was brought up in Lebanon as a Christian. When the civil war broke out, her village was terrorized. "I was nearly killed by a mortar. Our home was destroyed. We lived in a bomb shelter for seven years. Most of my childhood friends were killed. That's how I know about this fight." Out of personal angst came a movement to keep those childhood nightmares from becoming a reality on United States soil. As she explained: "I founded ACT! for America to be a citizen action network that will be the front-line voice for freedom-loving Americans everywhere."

One example of involvement is a nationwide petition effort against Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). This Muslim group has been known to infiltrate law enforcement agents, and has been accused of "acting as a front for terrorist organizations inside America," noted Gabriel in a OneNewsNow article. This petition is demanding Congress investigate CAIR and their underlying influence in our society.

Ever since the infamous 9/11, Alan Kornman has been on a mission to uncover extreme Islam in his own backyard. As Coordinator of the Orlando chapter of ACTS! for America, Kornman has discovered the exact philosophy of extreme Islam followers. In a candid interview, this warrior explained that "Shariah law is the glue that holds Islam together." From dawn to dusk, this law dictates how a true follower lives, relates to others and carries out its own justice. "Their goal is to promote Shariah law in America," Kornman noted. "They want Shariah law to be dominant over our constitution."

Included in Shariah law is "honor killings;" the punishment for "apostates," or those who have denied the Islam faith. The most recent case is of a father, Faleh Hassan Almaleki, purposely ran his daughter over with a car, killing Noor Almaleki for "becoming too westernized." This is the law that Rifqa Bary ran away from, and is in fear of, since converting from Islam to Christianity.

Last year, Kornman was informed about a group of Islam members who went into the Seminole school district, specifically Lake Brantley, in order to proselytize. Going into the school system under the guise of multi-culturalism, their true purpose came to light. This activist ignited the School Board, and within two weeks, the Islam group was forbidden to speak again.

In another case, a local mosque held a "secret" fundraiser for Hamas. Kornman made note of the 500 in attendance, and the $60,000 raised on behalf of terrorism, right on his doorstep.

In small yet significant ways, the Muslim practices are being set apart as a protected entity. For instance, Kornman noted at the Kansas City airport, Muslims are demanding prayer rooms just for them. Already there are non-denominational prayer rooms that a person of any faith can use. Irregardless, special accommodations are requested. There was an uproar at JBS Swift plant in Colorado and Nebraska last year, when Muslim workers demanded special prayer and dinner during Ramadan. The other Hispanic workers complained, as they would have to take up the slack. "It’s happening underneath the radar. It’s small, incremental steps," stated Kornman.

ACT! for America is "a vehicle for people who are concerned about the subject and want to do more," noted the Orlando Coordinator. A lobbyist keeps up with the latest legislation, but any citizen can join a chapter and stand up for the "slow Shariah creep," said Kornman. Stay aware and involved by corresponding with your elected official and communicating with others. "It’s empowering and you’re doing this as a change for good. Doing something you believe in will help the next generation as well."

Good vs. evil, right vs. wrong, U.S. Constitution vs. Shariah law, freedom vs. ‘honor’ killings; this is the battle that ACT! is enraged and engaged in. This battle has nothing to do with Muslim Americans who embrace our freedom and culture! Kornman acknowledges the many wonderful Muslim people he knows who would give "the shirt off their back for me." This is about understanding a culture whose purpose is to destroy the very freedom and values our founding fathers established so long ago. Americans have the right of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. "That includes your faith as well," reminded Kornman. This courageous man, who simply calls himself "a concerned citizen," is out to make sure our precious freedoms stay the course of time.
