With the rise in demand for independent fashion in Philadelphia, the chances to interact with the talent behind the labels are becoming more frequent. Designer trunk shows where the artists are present are certainly nothing new, but their presence in our city has increased as boutique owners seek out the best of the best in fashion.Strangefruit’s designer Kristen Haskins Simms will be making an appearance at matthew izzo Saturday, November 7, 2009 for a not to be missed trunk show event.
From 12:00pm to 5:00pm see and be seen at the place to be this Saturday and shop to your heart's content. Matthew Izzo’s boutique (151 N. 3rd Street) is filled with to die for looks, the best accessories in the city, and of course, Strangefruit’s elegantly comfortable and feminine garments.
