Whose afraid of a little fun on Halloween? Not Queens College Weekend Students. They used their free hour on Saturday to recharge, reconnect and reenergize with one another. Food, fun and friends were on the menu and Weekend College Director Dr. Karen Kennedy was on hand for the festivities. She dispensed information, answered questions and fielded comments about issues of most concern to students.
Always using their time wisely, students made a plan to gather next week to invigorate the Weekend College Student Organization. The goal of the organization is to promote community for the weekend population and connect to Queens College resources and services. Their first meeting will be Saturday, November 7th 12-1P in room 106.
And to show they weren’t all business on this festive of days, QC Student LA recited his poem entitled “Spooky” to the crowd.
