DMX prevented from performing at Colorado concert

According to media reports such as HipHopWired.com, DMX arrived at a charity concert in Colorado where he was scheduled to perform and was not only turned away by authorities but accosted by the venue's security team, as they attempted  to prevent the rapper from performing at his own scheduled concert.

Reports suggest that DMX was late at arriving to the venue by a few hours, and was prevented from going on-stage.  Media reports are suggesting, however, that the charity was unable to pay DMX in full.  Concerned they would be required to compensate DMX if he hit the stage, the charity decided to cancel his performance at the last minute.
