Here are some notable musical performances coming to the New York/Long Island area this November:

November 7 – Santos Party House, located at 96 Lafayette Street in Manhattan, hosts club masters Basement Jaxx at 10PM.  For tickets and more info, visit http://www.santospartyhouse.com/.

November 7-8 – Legendary rocker/songwriter Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band bring their “Working on a Dream” tour to Madison Square Garden for two shows.  See Ticketmaster for tickets.

November 8 – R&B legend Teena Marie celebrates 30 years of delivering great sounds, featuring new tracks from her latest, “Congo Square.”  At B.B. King’s Blues Club in New York City.  See Ticketmaster for more information. 

November 11 – Wu Tang Clan rapper Ghostface Killah showcases tracks from his newly released “The Wizard of Poetry” album at B.B. King’s Blues Club in Times Square.  See Ticketmaster for tickets.

November 11 – The Steve Miller Band plays the Capital One Bank Theater in Westbury.  See website below for details.

November 12-14 – Former Matchbox 20 front man Rob Thomas promotes his new album “Cradlesong” with three shows at the Beacon Theater.  Ticketmaster has the tickets.

November 14-15 – Metal favorites Metallica celebrate their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with two shows at Madison Square Garden.

November 18 – For the first time in seven years, all of the original members of the Cranberries have reunited and will play at the Nokia Theater in Times Square.   Ticketmaster.

November 18-19 – Pop superstar Miley Cyrus plays two shows in Uniondale's Nassau Coliseum, with special guest Metro Station.  See Ticketmaster for “paperless” tickets.

November 20 – The Who front man Roger Daltrey appears with Paper Zoo at the Nokia Theater.  See Ticketmaster’s website.

November 22 – Multi-platinum rap artist DMX brings fresh hardcore style tracks off his newest, “Walk with Me Now and You’ll Fly with Me Later” CD to B.B. Kings.  See Ticketmaster’s website for details.  

November 23-25 – Alternative rock greats The Pixies celebrate their 1989 breakthrough “Doolittle” with four shows at New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom on 34th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues.  The fourth show is a special 1AM concert on November 26th.  For tickets, go to Ticketmaster.com.  

November 24 – Popular Boston-based rock band Boys Like Girls play the Nokia Theater in New York City.   Ticketmaster.
