Ty Bannerman is an Albuquerque native and the author of Forgotten Albuquerque, a pictorial history of the city from Arcadia Publishing. Ty received his degree in creative writing from the University of New Mexico, and currently works as a freelance writer and stay-at-home parent for his 18-month-old son, Bryce. His work can often be seen in the Weekly Alibi and other local publications. He maintains a local history blog at http://forgottenabq.blogspot.com, and is happy to receive e-mails from readers at tydban@gmail.com.
