Anyone who cooks know how expensive a little bottle of spice can cost at the supermarket. Many commonly used spices run anywhere from $3 to $6 for only a few ounces. If you buy your spices from Ocean State Job Lot, on the other hand, you can expect to pay only 88 to 99 cents - for bigger bottles!

If you're worried that low cost might equal low quality, this is what the Job Lot website has to say, "In most cases customers are paying for a fancy glass bottle, an elaborate display and very little spice...At Ocean State Job Lot we figure whats in the bottle is more important than the bottle itself. Last year alone we purchased over 2 million bottles of fresh, high quality spice from major suppliers. When you buy that much spice you can afford to sell it for less, and we do, a lot less. At Job Lot we offer over 60 varieties of spice in full-size bottles, all for less than $1 each."

To find the Job Lot nearest you, click here for a list of their Massachusetts stores.  When you visit their website, don't forget to print out internet coupons for your shopping trip, and please check out their Coming Attractions page for a head's up on sales to come.
