"We got some bad news today," Dave Matthews told the crowd at Staples Center.

What do you say when a beloved founding member of your band just died?

"(LeRoi Moore) gave up his ghost today," Dave said, "and we will miss him forever."

Then he proceeded to do what any great musician would. He said good-bye with a three-hour show that expressed every feeling a friend could have when they've lost someone so close.
