A man who attacked Ryan Seacrest's security guard last month was detained by police Friday morning inside the E! building where Seacrest works.
TMZ reports that Chidi Uzomah, who was armed with a knife, went to the lobby and asked to see Seacrest. The lobby guard did not know the man, so he called the Los Angeles Police Department.
Seacrest was in the building at the time of the arrest, according to the report.
Uzomah was ordered to stay away from Seacrest after he pleaded guilty last month to attacking the "American Idol" host's security guard outside an Orange County hospital. He also got three years probation then.
