George Lucas opened his "Star Wars" costume closet for the "Today" show's Halloween extravaganza Friday morning as Matt Lauer became Luke Sywalker, Meredith Viera turned in Princess Leia and Hoda Kotb channeled Yoda. But the most improbable character was Al Roker as Han Solo.
He started the show in "Star Wars' jammies, tucked into his "Star Wars" sheets, and driffed off into dreamland, where he confronted Darth Vader (Ann Curry).
After the dream ended, Kathie Lee Gifford marched in as C-3PO and Natalie Morales entered as Queen Amidala. Even the producers got into it, with Jim Bell dressed as Obi-Wan Kenobi.
