Now flames, the blazing fire, must devour the lord of warriors who often endured the iron tipped arrow shower, when the dark cloud loosed by bow strings broke above the shield wall, quivering; when the eager shaft, with its feather garb, discharged its duty to the barb.

Medieval Rampage 2 is a improved version of the original Medieval Rampage, not necessarily a sequel. In it, you play the role of a soldier who must fight off the impending waves of enemies - alone. With little arms, you must improve yourself and be merciless on the battlefield, for your enemies are strong and many.
Your character has three weapon options: a spell, which costs mana and must be purchased in the shop; a melee weapon, which may only be used at short range; and a bow, the character's true weapon of choice - and the only one that can be upgraded. Control is simple - Q and E switch weapon types, the WASD or arrow keys can be used to move around the field, and the mouse is used to aim and shoot. Each field gets harder and harder, and there are bosses, so it will take situational awareness and good reflexes to master Medieval Rampage 2.
The game has two modes: campaign, in which each stage gets harder, but you are able to buy and sell at will in the shop, as well as upgrade your character's stats and bows, and survival, in which you continue to survive on the same field without any potions or pausing (upgrades are dropped by monsters.) To boot, the game has a great, if singular, soundtrack, full of fantasy rock action to keep your heart pumping as you pluck away at your bowstring.
Make no mistake: Medieval Rampage 2 is not for the action game beginner. It is, however, for action game enthusiasts who love a good challenge and even a little bullet hell.
