     Macro photography is extremely popular, and a wonderful addition to your nature photography arsenal, but there are a few ways to get out of paying the big bucks for the Specialty Macro Lens 5000.

     Gaussian blur is a simple but awesome tool in photoshop for achieving very nice depth of field in your photograph. Gaussian blur can be found in the Filters section of your Photoshop CS3/4 menu. Remember to feather the blur, as explained in Tips for shooting critters.

     Water is a magical thing for a photographer. A tiny stream with trickling water can turn into a rushing river with the right angle and shutter speed. The slower your shutter speed, the more action and dreamy quality you can get.

     Always get as close as you can without bumping your camera. Details are stronger when you're up close and personal!

Nature Macro Gone Wild!
Any "ugly" thing can become beautiful if your camera lens is extraverted enough to go and say "Hi"!
