For those who don’t know, this month marks the 20th anniversary of The Mirage--Las Vegas’ first true destination resort. In the past three years alone, The Mirage has made some major changes to keep people coming in, including the opening of Cirque du Soleil’s “Love,” Bare pool lounge and JET nightclub. However, while some of the new amenities and attractions at The Mirage may be easy to find, other new offerings can be easy to overlook.
Continuing to offer its guests something new to enjoy, just like the hotel in which it resides, The Spa at The Mirage (which underwent a renovation itself about two years ago) recently unveiled two new additions to its permanent menu, timed perfectly with the resort’s 20th anniversary. The first service, the Champagne, Caviar & Truffles Facial, is an organic anti-aging facial that provides a potent complex of vitamins, minerals and peptides found in champagne, caviar and truffles. The luxurious 50-minute service boosts cellular and collagen production to restore youthful radiance and reverse the signs of aging and costs just $135.
The second service, the Whipped Honey and Sweet Cream Body Treatment, allows guests to spoil themselves with an indulgent service that uses Vitamin E, soybean, sweet almond and avocado to exfoliate and renew their skin. The treatment lasts 50 minutes and costs $135.
As with any paid service at The Spa at The Mirage, guests who book the Champagne, Caviar & Truffles Facial or the Whipped Honey and Sweet Cream Body Treatment will also receive access to The Spa at The Mirage’s separate men’s and women’s wet areas (pictured left), complete with their own sauna, steam room and whirlpools (three of which are hot and one which is cold), so be sure to arrive for your appointment at least 30-60 minutes early to unwind. The Spa at The Mirage is open daily from 6:30 a.m.-7 p.m. To book your reservation, call 702-791-7472 or visit the spa’s online reservation page.
