Spend a weekend filled with intrigue and personal discovery at the Fairmont Scottsdale. This weekend, November 6 through 8, is 'Cloak and Dagger' weekend at the Fairmont Scottsdale as part of the fall 'Season of Personal Discovery' vacations at the Fairmont Scottsdale.

Gripping and suspenseful, the novels these writers bring to their readers leave hearts pounding with every twist and turn. Delve into the minds of masters of mystery:

  • Steve Berry: Author of The Amber Room, The Romanov Prophecy, and The Charlemagne Pursuit
  • Les Standiford: Author of Last Train to Paradise, Meet You in Hell, Washington Burning, Done Deal, Raw Deal, Deal on Ice, and 10 other best-selling novels
  • Joseph Finder: Author of numerous best-sellers including Paranoia, PowerPlay, and Company Man, and the novel behind the screenplay for High Crimes, a 2002 film starring Ashley Judd and Morgan Freeman
  • David Morell: Award-winning author of First Blood, the novel from which Rambo was born. Other works include The Brotherhood of the Rose and his most recent Creepers.

The themed Cloak and Dagger weekend includes a three-day/two-night stay at the Fairmont Scottsdale, exclusive admission to the Friday "Meet the Authors" welcome cocktail reception, Saturday book readings, reminiscences, demonstrations, "Q&A" sessions, a Saturday evening "Mix & Mingle" cocktail reception and gala dinner, a farewell breakfast Sunday morning, and a keepsake gift.

Spend the Cloak and Dagger weekend at Fairmont Scottsdale for $499 per person, double occupancy. Arizona residents can enjoy the Saturday daytime events for $65 per person and the Saturday evening dinner for $95. Gratuities are included in all pricing but resort taxes are additional on overnight stays.
