Women's Professional Soccer home openers announced

Women’s Professional Soccer announced its inaugural match will be held on March 29, 2009 and will feature the Washington Freedom and the Los Angeles Sol. The match will be played at The Home Depot Center in Carson, California and can be seen on Fox Soccer Channel at 6 pm EST.

Three home openers will be played on Sunday, April 5: FC Gold Pride will be hosting the Boston Breakers at Buck Shaw Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Sky Blue FC will host the Los Angeles Sol at TD Bank Park in Bridgewater, New Jersey. Saint Louis Athletica will be hosting the Chicago Red Stars at Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, Missouri. The times for these matches will be announced at a later date.
 
On Saturday, April 11, the Boston Breakers are slated to play Saint Louis Athletica at 7pm EST at Harvard Stadium. The Washington Freedom will face the Chicago Red Stars at the Maryland Soccerplex. The Red Stars will have its home opener on Sunday, April 19 against Sky Blue FC at Toyota Park.
