The snow flurries that we saw in Atlanta last week were an oddity for mid-April, but hopefully the cold weather is behind us and we have nothing but warm days to look forward to. The return of perfect riding weather might have you thinking about making some modifications that can give your sport bike a custom touch, whether you want a wide tire kit, an exhaust, or just a powdercoated dress-up kit.

To get you started, here's a list of ten custom sport bike builders who offer everything from full custom builds to bolt-ons.

Roaring Toyz: Bob Fisher blends style and performance. He believes bikes should look good and function well, even when on the throttle with the rear end kicked out. It's hard to argue with that kind of logic.

Custom Sportbike Concepts: An innovator in custom sport bike style, Nick Anglada's work always draws a crowd.

Voodoo Industries: Rob Uecker designs what might possibly be the hottest wheels on the sport bike scene. He's got plenty of other goodies, too.

H2o Cycles: One part builder and one part mad scientist, Louis Grasse perfected copper finishes, a feat no one else has accomplished.

McCoy Motorsports: If you ride a Yamaha, the online store for this Kentucky shop is probably in your "bookmarks" already. They stock parts for other makes, too.

Gator Customs: Nobody paints a bike like Gator Customs, and they have their patented Gator Glass: translucent bodywork that is illuminated from underneath.

Roland Sands Design: The trend-setter for West Coast sport bike style.

Vixen Cycle: This North Carolina shop has a distinct style, and they're all-around nice guys. Plus, military members get discounts.

Moto-Boutique: European street-fighter style gives sport bikes a whole new look.

Canni Design: Adam Canni is a concept man, and after he comes up with a custom sport bike design, he has the connections to get his idea off the paper and onto a bike.
