Traffic citations may be issued against a Pace bus driver who reportedly passed out while driving this morning in Oak Park and hit 11 vehicles along Lake Street.

The Oak Park Leaves newspaper has the story and reports no one was hurt, but there was significant damage to vehicles along Lake Street and in the parking lot of the Calvary Memorial Church.

The Leaves says police are not identifying the driver of the bus yet but an officer on the scene told the newspaper the driver was conscious after the bus finally came to a stop in the church parking lot. All this happened around 11 a.m.

The driver was taken to a local hospital for observation.
