Otto, now the oldest living dog at 145 yearsOtto - World's Oldest Living Dog- Photo Couresty of Caters News Agency LTD

Back in August we said a fond farewell to Chanel, who at that time was the listed by the Guinness Book of World Records as the oldest living dog. No sooner had poor Chanel received the notoriety than she passed away at the ripe old dog age of 147 years (thats 21 in people accounting, folks)! With Chanel’s passing, that crown has now been placed on the head of Otto, a dachshund-terrier mix who lives in England.

Otto inherits the Guinness record book's distinction as the oldest pooch.at 145 in dog years – (21 people count). Let's all hope that he gets to enjoy his moment of gory for some time to come!
