Jana Francis, work-at-home mom and founder of "Steal Network" started Babysteals.com and Kidsteals.com, unique websites that offer a daily "steal" of the day:  unique quality products available for one day only at a fraction of their usual price.   The steal of the day is announced at 9 am MST and is available for 50-80% off its usual retail price.  (You can sign up for a daily e-mail alert on each website.)

Items frequently are "sold out" a few hours after the initial e-mail alert.  (For example, Teething Bling, previously featured here, was a sold out "steal" just this week.)

Jana launched Babysteals.com in April 2008 after, in her words, "2 years of research, preparation and hard work."  Kidsteals.com launched just last month, on October 18, 2009.

A companion site, scrapbooksteals.com, launched in July of this year.

For momtrepreneurs looking to have their own products considered as "steals" on either site, Jana told examiner.com:

"a few things are mandatory:
-quality brand
-unique and/or significant product
-must have volume of product (a.k.a, a lot of product we can purchase)".

Momtrepreneurs that have a product to submit for consideration on either website should email buyers@babysteals.com, and/or buyers@kidsteals.com (or buyers@scrapbooksteals.com) with information on their product.
