The 5th Annual 100.7 WHUD Children's Miracle Network Radiothon will broadcast live and on location from the lobby of Maria Fareri Childrlen's Hopsital at Westchester Medical Center Wednesday, November 11, through Friday, November 13.
The broadcast is designed to raise awareness of local children's hospitals and the great work that they're doing to help our kids. Viewers will be encouraged to help support these organizations through donations.
Listeners are encouraged to serve as "Change Bandits" by collecting change from schools, businesses, and neighbors for donation to the Radiothon. Information on becoming a Change Bandit can be found at the WHUD Web site.
The Children's Miracle Network is a non-profit organization committed to generating funds and awareness programs in partnership with, and for the benefit of, member hospitals/foundations. More than $3.4 billion has been raised since its founding in 1983. Over 170 children's hospitals benefit from the efforts of the Children's Miracle Network.
